What is Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program?

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is a way to immigrate to Canada. Through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) the province of Saskatchewan invites applications for the permanent residency from foreign nationals who want to make Saskatchewan their home. It nominates successful applicants to the federal government for permanent residency in Canada.

Why To Choose Saskatchewan?

The Province of Saskatchewan has a diverse and determined migration program that is a response to the province’s growing economy. Among the provinces of Canada, Saskatchewan has the highest economic growth that is mainly based on agriculture and mining industries. The main reasons that justify why to choose Saskatchewan to live in as a Permanent resident:

• Many Employment Opportunities: Saskatchewan has the lowest unemployment rate at 3.9% with the national average for unemployment rate set at 7%.

• Higher Wage: Average salary in the province is around CAD 970, which is the third-highest in Canada.

Immigrants Friendly Policies: Saskatchewan’s Immigration program – SINP is designed and implemented in a way that provides the pathway to PR status in the province easy and transparent.

Free Access To Govt. Services: Provincial government of Saskatchewan provides it, permanent residents or citizens, with the following services – Cognitive Disability Strategy (CDS) Support, Free Monthly Child Care Subsidy, Home Repair Program, Saskatchewan Employment Supplement (SES), and Seniors Income Plan (SIP).

SINP gives the applicants assistance in all aspects of the nomination program that includes program requirements and processes with competitive application processing time.

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) allows the province to nominate candidates to the federal government for permanent residence under three main categories:

1. International Skilled Worker

2. Saskatchewan Experience

3. Business Immigration

These categories are each divided into several sub-categories for different types of immigration candidates.

Saskatchewan Experience

Business Immigration

This category is for individuals who wish to establish, acquire, or partner in a business in Saskatchewan by having an active involvement in the management. The category operates under 3 sub-categories as follows:

• Entrepreneur Category

• Farm Owners and Operators – Young Farmer Stream

• International Graduate Entrepreneur Category

How Does The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)?

At first it is important to identify the stream and category. The application procedure varies depending on their category. In some cases, a candidate would have to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) as a “pre-application”. Based on the answers you give while submitting your EOI, you will be granted a score. Those candidates with the highest scores are invited to apply through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

For the enhanced sub-category, the Saskatchewan Express Entry system is aligned with the federal government system used to manage permanent residence applications, and it gives each candidate a point-based score on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

The highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for permanent residence during Express Entry draws. If you get a nomination from an enhanced provincial program, you automatically get an extra 600 CRS points, which essentially guarantees an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
